Savior.org's mission is that of increasing awareness and devotion to our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament. We also seek to bring the live image of His living Presence to the homebound, the workplace, and to remote areas around the world.
About the image:
ABOUT THE IMAGE:The image is being broadcast from a webcam to our servers at a frequency of 12 frames per minute. A Java browser plug-in requests the page at or below the broadcast interval depending upon network loading. Your browser must have Java enabled in order to receive the image. If you are having difficulty receiving the image, most likely it is due to network congestion or a slow dial-up connection. If you would like to keep our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament visible on your desktop for an extended period of time, we would kindly ask that you use the low-bandwidth desktop link at the bottom of the home and devotions pages. This link will provide an update once per minute. For those who cannot maintain a persistent connection, use the offline still image link. ABOUT OUR USER INTERFACE Our interface was designed in a manner that would allow visitors to recite and meditate on a variety of devotional materials while maintaining the focus on our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament. In order to accomplish this feat, the devotional portion of the site has been optimized for browsers that support inline frames. For all others, the site uses popup windows. If you are viewing this material in the main window, congratulations, your browser supports inline frames. If not, and you decide to frequent our site, you may want to consider a free upgrade to Internet Explorer 6.0 that supports inline frames. Some tips on using our devotional interface: 1. Click on the devotions menu to select a devotional reading. Once selected, the new content will appear in the inline frame or a new window. You must roll out of the menu once an item has been selected. For IE 5.5 and above: 2. You can scroll through content in the inline frame by placing your mouse over the up or down arrows OR by using the wheel if you have a mouse wheel. 3. Use the back and forward buttons on your browser to move through pages that appear in the inline frame. For all other browsers: 2. Scroll through content by using the conventional scroll bars of the popup window. 3. Right click on the popup window and select back or forward to move through pages that appear in the popup window.
